Fia Fia

What an amazing night. My first Fia Fia, if someone was to ask me which cultural dance I liked, I couldn't tell you, I enjoyed them all. The whole night took my breath away.

From weeks of practices and the same song going over and over in my mind, I think I lost a kg or 2 practicing the routines with the very awesome and glowing Jump Jam team. 

Thanks to my wonderful colleagues Miss Szymanik, Mrs Stickland  and to the students, 

you made us so very proud.

Derby Day

Trolley Derby Day saw Pt England School winning their first race against Orakei School.
Noah, the Pitt crew and Mr Jacobson did such a great job keeping the cart in good condition. Well done team.

Gymnastic

Room 26 would like to thank Flaminio for a wonderful gymnastic experience. We have been using locomotive skill in our class to help us to follow instruction more carefully. 

At our last gym lesson Flaminio gave us a certificate of participation.

Duffy Theatre

Earlier in the term we were lucky enough to have The Duffy Theatre visit our school. Once again very well performed drama which tells the story of a girl who could not read the letter she received from her father who had gone to war. Very cleverly incorporated an ANZAC feel.

Swimming

This term we have been learning to swim at the Glen Innes Pools. We have had so much fun. Room 26 would like to thank our swim coach.
