Glen Innes Library

 On Tuesday the 31st of March Rooms 23 and 22 got to have got to the Glen Innes Libray to look at special Taonga. A group of people from the Auckland Museum bought special items from the Museum for us to learn about. Room 23 got to hold these special items. We listened to Matua Ma'ara play an instrument by blowing the air out of his nose. We tried drilling a hole with a very old tool that was used many years ago.  

                                      

Tiaki Taonga

 This week room 23's Tiaki taonga is Harmony David for being  helpful  towards the students in her group and politely encourages students to listen to the teacher.

                                           

Fruit Kebabs

 Fruit Kebabs

Room 23 made fruit kebabs. We had apples, grapes, and strawberries. Ms Tumahai cut out the leafy stem part of the strawberry. There were lots of rotten strawberries. We had purple grapes and apples. We each got a marshmallow and a pineapple lump. It was so much fun an also very yummy.

Huge thanks to Miss Vaafusuaga for taking the whole of team 3 for Jump Jam on Wednesday afternoon. Room 23 had so much fun exercising with the team.

Team Assembly

Our First Team Assembly for 2021.

On Wednesday Team 3 had their first assembly with our new team leader Mrs Moala. We sang and gave out our very first certificate for our Tiaki Toanga students for the week. Well done Ace from Room 23.

Free Lunches in 2021

Today was our first day of free lunches. Thanks to the Government our school, along with many other schools in New Zealand will receive free lunch in 2021. Today we had a chicken wrap, carrot sticks and a muffin.  Yummmy!!!!
