Copyright and Tshirt Design

Today in Cybersmart we learned about Copyright and attribution. We learned that to use other peoples images you have to have permission or use "Free to use" images. 

In this task we had to design 3 tshirts: 

The first tshirt we used any image from Google Images. 

The second image we used a free to use image from the explore tool. 

The last image we created our own image that needed no attribution at all.

Scams and Phishing

 Today in Cybersmart we learned about Scams and Phishing. It's important to look hard at the websites go to, pop-ups, or emails we receive. Sometimes they might be scams of phishy.

We had lot's of fun figuring out what types of things we needed to look out for.

Replying to comments

 In Cybersmart today we learned the importance of replying to comments. 

We have gotten so good at commenting on other peoples work, and making sure they are positive, thoughtful, helpful. Now we wanted to make sure that we are replying to comments that other people send to us.

Google Draw

 As part of our classroom cyber smart learning, Mr Goodwin taught us all how to use google draw by drawing this fishbowl using the shapes and the curser line to draw rocks and seaweed. 

Smart Relationships

We spent the morning writing positive, thoughtful and helpful comments on each others Blogs. We are also working on replying to the positive, thoughtful and helpful comments left by other students from different school. 

Cyber Smart

 

Room 11 will be learning how to be Cyber Smart with Whaea Heather on Friday mornings. In our first session we watched a video called Pause and Think. We discussed what is a Smart Relationship and who we can have Smart Relationships with.
